TUNA SALAD ON FLACKER?!


That's right!


Flackers make a great healthy, crispy, crunchy snack on their own or with favorite salad (like egg salad, tuna salad, crab salad, or chicken one, etc), dip or avocado spread, could be humus and guacamole...


WHAT ARE FLACKERS?!


It is #flourless crackers made out of raw #flaxseeds, which are naturally gluten free. Flackers are easy to make: flax seeds, apple cider vinegar and a pinch of sea salt! Soak them in vinegar water first, and then dehydrate at low in the oven forming them into any shape you prefer. I find square is easy and fast ;).


FLACKERS are nutrient rich, this have amazing benefits for our health. High in #protein, #fiber, contain potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, Vitamin B1 and Omega 3 (ALA mainly)


TUNA SALAD INGREDIENTS:


1 can tuna in water, crumbled

2 boiled eggs, diced much

1 Tbsp. Light Mayo or 1/2 Small Avocado blended with some fresh lemon juice (your choice. If made with avocado and lemon, eat immediately; if cooking for later, then use light mayo as it remains fresh longer than with avocado, nor it changes the color.

2 Tbsp. Green Onions, diced

1 Stem Celery, Raw and diced (optional)


HOW TO:


Mix all ingredients together and place on top of Flackers, decorate with pea leaves, other available greens and sprinkle with milled flax seeds and turmeric.


These flackers make a perfect appetizer for guest gathering or event food!
